Didn't know you were afraid until...

So this morning was just like every other morning. I begrudgingly get ready after my sweet husband so nicely tells me "it's time to wake up". I go to work and start another day at the place I spend more of my time then any other place. But this morning was unlike every other I have had in my life. Now this morning could be seen as just another run of the mill bad luck morning like when you alarm just magically doesn't go off, or no matter what you try do with your hair it just sucks, or you leave just a minute late and ALL of the traffic signals have conspired against you and they are saying in your mind "this means go back to bed". It could be considered a day like those but I will choose it to be different because of this particular event. Have I got you really wondering what it is??? Well, I get to work I go to the elevator and push the button awkwardly almost crash into someone when the door opens go in to the empty elevator and push "2" (which it isn't a long elevator ride from level 1). The doors close and the number screen telling you which floor are on displays the number 2. Well ok I am getting ready to get off because it shouldn't take that long. Well I am waiting and waiting, thinking "what the hey!" so, I think maybe if I push another button and the elevator moves I can do what I probably should have done in the first place and take the stairs. Well I push a button to a different floor, no such luck there is no movement, and just to make sure I push another button. Nothing. Well then I got the chance to push the buttons you have always wanted to push to see what happens but knew you would get in trouble if you did so you don't, at least I have always wanted to push the buttons. I even tried to pull a superman move and open the doors myself. As you can see the story doesn't end there so you know that I am no super woman.
Well I start to push the "duress" button, not knowing if they would come on the telephone intercom thing or what. So I pushed that button and nothing. Still afraid that I would get in trouble I went ahead and pushed the "phone" button and a women comes on I explain my plight and she says "ok I will have to let maintenance know". I think to my self "oh great how long am I going to have to wait?" I was secretly glad that I packed my diet coke playing cards. Too bad I didn't get a chance to play them, the doors open and off I went mouthing a quick thank you to the security camera, in case anyone was watching. And I was on my way.
So I thought I would be more afraid then I was. I mostly was just concerned about being in there all day. So what are you afraid of?
